By disabling the wifi do you mean turning off all the below like the ones below and then configuring the AP mode on the Orbi to make it act as the router? As suggested in Option #2. I spent a whole day trying to figure this out as well before I found this thread. Bridge mode is the configuration that disables the NAT feature on the modem and allows a router to function as a DHCP server without an IP Address conflict. I couldn't only get the WiFi network running again by doing a factory reset on the C4000XG (the article above walks through the how to very nicely).
