I have submitted 4 emails over the past year and a half and called numerous times, NO REPLY and NO CLIP in the mail. It’s hard to find another knife that’s as useful, flexible, and high-quality as the SOG Seal Pup Elite knife. I don't give very many reviews but i figured that this one deserved one.

The blade almost protrudes from the end of the handle when closed, do not know if this just my knife or the standard design but it presents a potential hazard if anything brushes against the bottom of the handle when closed, and yes it does come close enough that if I run my finger along the bottom I can feel the tip catch my finger but it does require said item (finger or otherwise) to dip into the blade, but the distance is less than a millimeter. I’ve been using their knives for many years, and have never been let down by any of ’em, including their multi-tools. Everyone who wants a tactical or survival knife should take a close look at the Seal Pup Elite. I didn’t even use it once I realized how low quality it was and returned it the very next day. Returned it for a sharpening and a 'look over' - they sent me back a brand new one because they said there was too much play in the blade. Not to mention, they can do pretty much anything on that laser machine. I ordered a seal knife for my grandson who was home on leave from U. S. Navy recieved it in only 2 days , Nice product great service . The thumb stud occasionally catches on your pants when you take knife out of your pocket causing the blade to open. I will never buy another one of their products again. It’s hollow ground in order to be razor sharp and easy to maintain. I was informed by a representative (who curtly insisted that they HAD sent me an order confirmation) that it was too late to cancel the order as "it has already shipped."
I bought the fasthawk and within 1 month the handle busted. When they decided that profit was more important than quality and started making all their stuff in Taiwan I stopped buying the equipment so sog has lost my business and they tried to hide this fact on their webpage there's nothing quality coming out of Taiwan. There’s very little risk of the handle slipping or the blade twisting out of your hand, even when you’re muddy, wet, or have slippery hands.

Not only is this wildly excessive, but I can tell you (having run an online business for years myself) that "restocking fees" are nonsense.
