Over the course of the decade leading up to the summer of 1984, a total of thirteen teenage boys have disappeared in Cape May, Oregon but their disappearances have never been connected.
And I loved that ending.
Another of the things that I like is how the story naturally progresses, with the boys slowly uncovering more and more pieces of the puzzle which, in turn, implicates Mackey more and more.

Regardless, Woody really is kind of the emotional backbone of the movie and his friendship with Davey is a strong one, so I get the need for him to be there, but still. I mean, if it wasn't Mackey, who else could it have reasonably been?
This deserved a wider audience and I hope it develops into a cult film. Story is basic, these four teens, led by Davey, investigate Davey's neighbor, Mackey (a cop), as Davey believes Mackey is the Cape May Slayer, a serial killer who has murdered thirteen boys from the ages of 12-16 (the same age group our leads are in) and fifteen people overall. I just watched it and the ending kinda left me a bit empty, any plans for a sequel? The percentage of users who rated this 3.5 stars or higher. PS: I know there's gonna be comparisons between this and Stranger Things as a result of it involving a group of four friends investigating some sort of mystery.
