The initial taste of the syrup is just like the taste of the lite variety of Aunt Jemimah pancake syrup; however, the aftertaste is quite artificial and I'm not a big fan of it. Calorie free. As a diabetic, I've tried every option available on my local supermarket's pancake syrup shelf, and they've either had a horrific aftertaste, or the consistency and taste of swamp water.
It arrived completely spilled all over. Keep in mind, this isn't going to taste like a full sugar syrup, but I think it is still delicious and if you are watching your sugar intake, it's the best option I've found out there. Walden Farms makes good products but they are WAY more expensive to buy here on Amazon than in store.

The product that I received from this seller, however, was extremely watery-- not the correct consistency for a pancake syrup. Even when you’re away from home, you can eat healthy "The Walden Way" with Walden Farms Calorie-Free Single Serve Packets of Salad Dressings and Syrups.
