Thanks for offering to help Lukasz but that's not what I want. Your customers need to enter the code during checkout to receive the discount. From the Shopify mobile app, you can save time by duplicating a discount that's similar.

NOTE: If you selected the “Use across multiple events” option, this step is a bit different. In the Discount code section, enter a name for the new discount code (for example, buyonegetonefree). If you are selling online, then you can also offer buy X get Y discounts to encourage customers to buy items.

When editing the ticket settings for an event, you can add a ticket to a ticket group by clicking “Add to group” or remove it from an existing group by clicking the ‘X’ next to an existing ticket group name. Click the free shipping discount you want to edit. Your new discount will now appear in the Discounts view under Store in the Shopify app. Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type. Enter the maximum shipping rate that you want to allow into the Amount field. Offer discounts to attendees registering early or specific customer groups. Then select your event.

6. Discount usage is unlimited by default. For example, if you have a $50 discount applied on a cart with a $50 and a $100 item, then the first item is discounted by $16.50 and the second one by $33.50. Choose the ticket(s) the code should discount.

If you want to apply the code to this event only, select “This event only”.

Click “New Code". In the Discount value field, enter the percentage or dollar value of the discount. To remove an individual customer or group of customers from eligibility for a discount, click the X next to the customer's or group's name. If you select Subscription in the Purchase type section of the Create discount code page, then you can choose to apply the discount to All subscription products, All subscription products in a specific collection, or Specific subscription products. If you have an existing free shipping discount that you want to update, then you can edit your discount code to include subscription-based rules. Go to your event's Manage page, select "Discount & Access Codes" under Marketing, select "New Code," and choose "This event only" to get started. You would still need to use the link that Lukasz pointed out above so that the code was stored in the first place, and it means you would need an obvisous notice so that users know why the store prices are changing in front of them.
