Why are the egg and the egg white separated can anyone explain this to me?
So goood!!!! 1 T of Mayo is an old time equivalent of 1 egg. Have you ever tried a soaked flax seed mixture to replace eggs in recipes? I can taste the beans, not bad, but different. I made these for the first time as I wanted something to use with my pb2. I experimented with using oil instead of butter, the ratio of eggs, the types of sugars and the amount of cocoa.
Fingers crossed! Served with dollop of ice cream on top.
I didn't have the full amount of honey, so I used part honey and part agave. Brownies are eggy.
I used PB2 Chocolate Powder and I also added A bit of low fat cream cheese icing although I’m sure it would be delicious without the icing.
My food philosophy is to eat seasonal, whole foods and maintain good portion control (everything in moderation!). Saved the recipe to make many more times, thank you . I made them with semi-sweet chocolate chips as I had them on hand. And the beans bring added protein and fiber a good thing. . If it had the same amount of fat, it would be "butter" when you ground it instead of "flour." Sooooo good. These are my favorite brownies!

I couldn’t say for sure what would happen if you only used 1 egg per batch. I’m in a calorie deficit right now.
This recipe sounds amazing! The texture however is not brownie like, more like a chocolate cake, which is just fine!

Mine too! I'm not used to using raw honey. Perhaps using two whole eggs would work in place of honey, and a tablespoon more water if you replace the honey with stevia. I made these brownies all by myself and they were DELISH! They came out really nice but more cake-like than I prefer in a brownie. Thanks so much! I have made the Flourless Brownies and the PB2 Flourless Brownies a couple of times each to figure which ones we like best. The texture was more cake-y but very rich and moist. They were BLACK.
I just know that they willl taste even better than the picture looks…YUMMY in my tummy! I have been such a good girl this month, and I have been CRAVING brownies for my birthday treat next week! I use dark cocoa and butterscotch and dark chocolate chips but followed the rest of the recipe.

Thanks! Mrs. B, you might find that types of honey such as acacia is a lot milder and doesn't taste as distinctive as most other honeys, but I am sure you could use agave nectar or maple syrup instead .

Also, after reading the comments, I added 1/4C of unsweetened applesauce, I think next time I will only add 1/8C of the applesauce. I loved them! However I like the PB2 chocolate for baking. I’m going to make another double recipe using creme de menthe chips and topping them with mint M & Ms. Hi Gina! For a 6.5 oz bag it was 3.99.
